This day has changed my life and my thought process, I know in the future it is going to change the way I act and the way I respond to people. This Sunday I am going to the church with the vision that I have for it and I am going to share with minimal notes and speak from my heart and do my best not to get lost with what I need to say, I am going to find my voice Thank you for what you have done and I pray that all those who attended todays meeting will have the same or greater life transforming experience. My name is Meagan Kelly, and I attended Paul Scanlon’s Communication Masterclass in Edmonton, Alberta on June 16th. I wanted to take a moment to share with you some of my thoughts on the day! Thank you!

I attended the Communications Masterclass hoping to hone my skills as a communicator and journalist. However, this day turned out to be a major breakthrough in my journey to discover God’s purpose for my life. I have been told my whole life to ‘calm down’, that I have too much energy and I talk too much. For years, unknowingly, I have been putting a lid on my energy to satisfy others. To hear Paul say to me directly that I’m an ‘energizer bunny’ and there’s nothing wrong with that brought me to uncontrollable tears. For a while now, I’ve felt trapped in my ability to express myself fully. I’ve also felt trapped in my career, feeling like I can do more with my passion and skills. That day, Paul gave me the push I needed to stop trying to living a life of restriction. As he said, “It’s not what you don’t know that’s the problem, it’s what you do know.” I made a commitment to stop making excuses and live the life God intended me to live.

In the week following the masterclass, I was in the mist of a campaign for my non-profit organization raising funds for children in the Philippines: The Gift of Grace Foundation. I believe what I learned in the masterclass helped me to communicate my passion and energy to others more authentically. I finally let go and I was 100 per cent myself. I could not believe the media coverage, donations, and volunteer inquiries that started coming in. In just seven days, The Gift of Grace Foundation received $10,000 in donations. This has helped us reach our goal of sending 100 Filipino children to school for an entire year. I honestly credit Paul Scanlon’s Communications Masterclass for helping me discover how God can use me as a voice for others. A voice that is true to ME.

Thank you Paul from the bottom of my heart for helping to free me from the restrictions I set on myself, restrictions preventing me from who God created me to be.
